Tuesday report

Walibi World

Time for Walibi world!!! And it definitely was time for something else than badminton. Time to relax… yeah right. This day all the players went to Walibi world an attraction park in Holland. It is very large and there are many attractions you can ride on. You have the “El Condor” an attraction in which you hang with your feet. “Xpress” in this one you get blown away in a flash and you go in looping’s and all sorts of curves. And then the biggest and largest one of Europe the “Goliath”. A ride that is very very high and goes down at almost 90 degrees. It is really fast.

In the beginning the players went with a big group into the park. But after some rides they split apart because everybody wanted to go in other rides. But when it was almost time to get to the bus everybody joined each other again. So the group reformed itself.

The weather was very hot. Luckily the rows weren’t that long so you didn’t had the sun on your head all the time. Also there were three water rides: Splash battle, El Rio Grande and Crazy River. Splash battle was allot of fun. In this ride you can make each other wet by shooting with water. You’re in a little boat and you have four water shooters. You can get very wet in that attraction. El Rio Grande has 8-person round boats and you go on a track in the water. Also this ride makes you very wet. And off course the Crazy River every attraction park has that one. These attractions were very good because it gives a little refreshment instead of the warm sun.

In the end around four o’clock everybody returned to their busses with tired faces. Another busy, powerful (whatever you want to call it)day went by. On to the next day with the doubles this time. (at 8:00 clock in the hall and 8:30 the games will begin).
